I’ve been working through a “plan your life” type workbook the past few days. I’ll have a review of it up once I’m finished. However, I wanted to mention one of the things I’ve found. The workbook asks the reader to write down the biggest, most exciting and outlandish goal he or she has. Mine was to build an international lifestyle, where I live in other countries for a few months out of the year. When I did the math, I realized I could do this making only $25,000 a year. I only make about half that, but it seems like a very reasonable goal all of the sudden. Now, a goal I’ve always thought of as too good to even dream about seems to be in reach, and I’ve decided that my goal for 2012 is to spend a month in Israel studying at a yeshiva.
